My SD1 engined tr7 has lucas opus ign and I seem to be getting no sparks at all. Has anyone got a diagram, or advice, I'm getting some voltage at the coil lt but nothing at HT with the engine spinning, I' ve tried a new coil. andrewt Posted June 11, 2004 Report Share Posted June 11, 2004 You need another opus. i had no end of trouble with mine before i gave up & bought a luminition kit & V8 kit to go with it. 12 years on & no trouble at all. The opus overheats in the dizzy & cooks itself, not having an engine driven fan doesn't seem to help this either. A luminition is also cheaper than a new opus, whilst a second hand opus could last a week or a year. Cheers Andy Quote Link to post Share on other sites
