Guest hodgie
Sometime ago, one of the members mentioned a very effective central locking set up that could be installed very easily, significantly cheaper than the £80 set up available through recognised outlets. Anyone have an easy bolt on/ wire up set up?
Cinnobar
Mine runs a kit from Vision UK (www.vision-uk.co.uk from memory) which was realatively easy to install. The main module sits under the speaker grill and the cables run down into the doors. Mine is triggered from a Vision alarm & microwave module. I had to lengthen one loom because it was 2ft short and used a length of trailer cable. Setting up the motor units is fiddly as their doesn't seem to be very much tolerance on the TR locking mech and the difference between locked and unlocked is not a lot. Kit from memory was around £ 80. Good support from Vsision and their alarm is modules work very well. Jim
tr7v8
do a search on ebay, several kits availible for 30 odd quid, a TR7 system is hardly advanced and any universal kit should fit with a little tweaking... Tom
Andy Moltu
Hold out your left arm! Unless you can get the alarm fob to operate the central locking it's probably not worth the grief on a 2 door car!
