Lee Dutton
Hi all, I seem to be having some problem with my electric fan and need some advice, the fan will not come on, not sure why,it has a pre set thermostat which I have never liked and would like to wire up an overide switch so I can activate the fan before the engine gets too hot,can anyone supply the correct wiring info please Regards Lee
Mike Collins
You could test the fan by joining those two wires together, mind your fingers. If the fan starts your switch is not working. An override could be just a switch connected in parallel with your existing thermoswitch. It may need the ignition to be switched on, depends how it was wired. Mike. mr tr4
Hi Lee When I had the same problem it was the line fuse holder and fuse. In the end I took them out. Sure thats not good advice though......
