graeme
Gents, I have a clicking noise from the rear of my TR4A. It is rotational and only occurs during heavy braking and hairpin righthand corners. I am assuming that it occurs when the rear of the car is raised as in braking and cornering so I am beginning to think UJ. Anybody experienced this?? Could it be anything else? The UJs were replaced with HD UJs and HD driveshafts about 7000 miles ago. The UJs were disturbed last year when fitting Cosworth hubs. Thanks Graeme
Smokey
I had a clicking on right hand turns that turned out to be a seat belt bolt in the transmission tunnel that was too long, and would touch a u-joint when the drivshaft shifted during the turn. Cutting off the end of the bolt slightly fixed the problem.
