littlejim
Just in case you haven't worked this out yourself. There are a few spots where this type of rubber weatherseal has to go on the 4A. I found fitting it straight out of the Moss packet wasn't working too well, but after painting the tiny grooves (left side of the seal) with baby powder, and pushing the furthest edge under the metal lip the near edge pushed in vertically without a problem. Did you spot the 'Friday - end of shift' spot weld on the edge of the channel? PS: rubbing soap along both sides of the vertical metal strip helped the furflex to slide on. Lee Dutton
JUST ANOTHER TIP,IF THE HEADLING IS WRINKLED THIS CAN BE ELIMINATED BY 'STEAMING' WITH A BOILING KETTLE BE VERY CAREFUL AND ONLY LET THE STEAM PERMEATE INTO THE VINYL. THIS PROCESS CAN BE USED FOR ANY WRINKLY VINYL,SEATING AS WELL, BE VERY CAREFUL AND DO A TEST PIECE. IN HARD TO GET AT AREAS WATER CAN BE INJECTED IN USING A SYRINGE THIS WORKS BY SHRINKING THE COTTON BACKING FABRIC GOOD LUCK LEE
