They don't have the little ears which go under the snap studs so the studs just fasten directly onto the screen frame. Originals are extremely difficult to find in concours shape, and restoration of the alloy ones is extremely difficult due to pitting. Very early ones are chrome over brass and are restorable - if you can find one. I first learned of their existence after 30 years of uninterrupted TR4/250 ownership.
