Alec Pringle Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Rear axle bearings for the De Dion tube - two each side required. 2523-S Cup and 2585 Cone together make one bearing. And they are ridiculously expensive, just try googling . . . . if they're even in stock, that is ! I have 3 spare bearings available, each bearing consisting of 2523-S plus 2585. Enough for one side of the car and half the other, as it were. Genuine Timken Ohio USA, new old stock in perfect condition, not some cr*piti modern equivalent made in somewhere unpronounceable. Why are they spare ? I bought a job lot, I now have a full set for our Peerless, plus a full spare set. Someone else can have the benefit of the other three. £30 each, plus whatever it costs to post if you'd like them posting.
