AGR 441 B
I have a recollection of a tip to improve the lever arm of the handbrake levers in the rear drum back plates, but can't find the details. It involved fabricating small extention plates to re-attach the clevis pins. Was it in TR Action? Does anyone remember the dimensions of the plates or which issue of TR Action? Can't find it on the `Technicalities` disk. Does anyone have an index of TR Action `tech tips`? AGR 441 B

AGR 441 B
This is what you're looking for http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=20185&pid=141191&mode=threaded&start= Thanks for the thread you identified. It wasn't what I remembered but did in fact lead me to Roger Williams book "How To Improve 2-4A" where there is a dimensioned diagram of the plates already set out. This saves the trial and error approach to get to the most convenient dimensions as mentioned in the thread. Great help! Thanks for the rapid response. RogerH
If you have a 4A then you will get a better result by repositioning the cable attachment on the handbrake lever itself. Doing both (lever & back plate) gives the greatest improvement. Roger
