stuart
Happy New Year to all, could you please share your experience which is the best oil or lubricant to grease steering box mechanism? Thank you in advance. Best regards, Ondrej EP 90 of GL4 spec filled through the rubber bung found on the steering tube just above the box itself as this keeps the upper race properly lubricated rather than just filling the box through its filler cap which only "splash " lubricates it. and Happy New year to the Czech Republic. BrianC
Alternatively, especially if you are worried about leaks: http://www.penriteoil.com/uk/pispdf/UK%20Steering%20Box%20Lube.pdf
Jack Horner
The tube on the penrite bottle can be screwed into the top cover, and then you can realy squeeze in the lube, which should push it back up the column, past the upper race. Just warm the bottle up first.
