I believe this is original laminated glass and that the discoloration is in the "plastic" used to make the sandwich. Short of replacing the glass, is there a way to remove these stains? Alec Pringle Posted August 30, 2009 Report Share Posted August 30, 2009 Hi Frank, everything that I've ever tried to remove discolouration from the edge of laminated glass has only made the problem worse, not better ! The best you can do, in my experience, is to seal the edge of the glass - the discolouration results from oxidisation, the seal is no longer effective . . . . so reseal it and stop it getting any worse.
