Engine Ground Strap

Recommended Posts

It bolts to the suspension turret just an inch, or so, to the rear of the left hand engine mounting and goes straight across to a hole in the front engine plate, positioned near the outside edge of the timing chain cover.

Make sure you have actual "metal to metal" contact. With a restoration it often means scraping a bit of that beautifully painted engine and chassis but... it's got to be done

A generous blob of copper-ease, to protect against corrosion, helps.

We'll keep our fingers crossed for you next weekend....the expected snow will keep it in the garage this weekend !!
