Nic Bowman
Hi, new engine rebuild, head is bolted on, heater valve not. The heater valve has a 135 degree adapter, but the adapter (or heater valve) wont go on as the nearest head stud stops it rotating??? Any answers? Ta Nic
Rhodri
I recall from an article in an old TRaction, that the same thing happened to Pete Cox? when he installed the first of Moss's alloy heads on the TR4. He had forgotten to screw in the adapter, so I believe, he then used a TR6 one which is straight and fits without a problem. As I say, this is from memory, I can not guarantee it- ring Pete Cox at Moss. Rod.
