Lower wishbone bracket spacing

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am about to weld a new lower wishbone bracket on my chassis but can't find any info on the spacing. The front brackets (in front of the spring) are fitted but I really need to know the distance between them. I checked with the other side but the spacing does not seem right (it's been repaired at some stage). Any advice would be appreciated.

cheers

Have a look at the TR6 Repair Operation Manual page 76.10.02 Sheet 2 where you will find a dimensioned drawing of the chassis but I am not sure if you can see a dimension for the bracket position though, think you will need a magnifing glass as the drawing is quite small! If you do not have this manual you will find a pdf version here http://www.vitessesteve.co.uk/PDF/TR6.pdf

Hope this helps

Cheers

Thanks Bill, I do have that drawing but missed when I looked.. I measured the other side and plumped for 9.5", seems I was 0.03" out but should be ok.
