A good investment those roller-bearings. I would buy a kit from one of the specialists too. A few more £s but with the instructions and backup required by a numpty mechanic :blink:

they are ford sierra strut top roller bearing i'll post part number tonight cost me i think £6 for pair broke the first i bought of the guy on ebay £24 when tightening up while spring compressors wound right up.

 

i also got a friend to machine the bell out so bearing sits in nice without adding any extra height so its effectivly so ame thickness as the washer you will be removing
