I'm pressing on with the (major) restoration of my Doretti. I've just found evidence of previous accident damage and I may need to refabricate the LH front suspension tower. Please does anyone have a diagram showing the critical dimensions - in particular between left hand and right hand wishbone pivot points?

Thanks

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

From the (lengthways) chassis centreline, it is 13.188" out to the centreline of each top shocker mount hole. There should be an ID plate to give you the chassis centreline on top of the front crossmember.

In other words it is 26.376" across from tower to tower, measured centreline to centreline of each top shocker hole.

If you need dimensions for the lower pivots, they are 8.77" from the chassis centreline out to the centreline of each lower pivot, or 17.54" right across.

Hope this is what you need,

Regards,

Viv.

Many Thanks Viv for taking the trouble to reply. It seems that the forum works.

I will compare that with my chassis dimensions and hopefully avoid a few more hours machining and welding.

regards

Nigel
