Trevor S
David, I've used a product called "Son of a gun" which comes in a yellow aerosol pump action plastic bottle. It cleans pretty well on surface dirt but doesn't seem too good on deep scuffs etc. Works well on rubber too. Trevor.
davidgsmith
Thanks Trevor. Not heard of it, where can I get it from? any suggestions for the rear window too? Cheers, David
Steve R
Hi David Good old Brasso Is good for the plastic window. Regards Steve R
Trevor S
David, "Son of a Gun" is made by STP. It costs about £3.00 for a 0.250 litre bottle. I notice mine has a Wilco Motor Spares price label on it, so assume it's available from most high street motor factors. I'm afraid I've no experience re the rear window. I've just used soap and water on mine and tried never to fold the plastic when not in use. It's lasted 10 years so far but having said that the soft top doesn't get a lot of use except for this last summer when it was on more than it was off! Regards Trevor.
