roulli
Hi, Bought a new pair of trunnions and trunnion bush kits. There is a lot of free play between the metal distance bush and the hat shaped nylon bearing. Even if I push the nylon bearing into the wishbone eye, the metal bush will still pivot in the nylon bearing. To the addition, there is play between the bolt and the metal distance bush. I think it is senseless to tighten up the suspension with Superflex bushes on one side and to install sloppy trunnion bushes on the other side. I’m thinking of getting the metal bush machined to give a tight fit on the bolt and in the nylon bearing. What is your experience with the trunnion bush kits? jerrytr5
I had the opposite problem with poly trunnion bushes - when torqued up the whole trunnion locked up solid so I went back to standard nylatron. I'm not convinced that the manufacturers have done their homework on this particular bush. Jerry
