need help please guys

 

Have put the tow hook on the 6 looks good with the flipper, tried the lights connected them up side lights OK brake lights OK indicators go very dim and flash fast any suggestions I am leaving the Island Monday so getting worried

Electrics are not my strongest point, however, if you mean that you are testing with the trailer on then you normally need a new flasher unit capable of taking the extra indicator lights on the trailer. If this is happening with no trailer, then re-check your connections, especially the earths. If you have a Halfords, or better still, a towbar fitting place, they can probably sell you a heavy duty flasher unit.

You need a heavy duty flasher unit - the standard ones are upset by the reduced resistance that additional bulbs attached to the indicator circuit produce - hence the rapid flashing.

 

I got one for my Stag from EJ Ward the Stag people & should work with the 6 just as well.

The old original type are worked by a bi-metal strip which heats and bends (higher wattage = more heat = quicker operation and why a blown bulb slows them down), with a contact breaker point - it needs to be replaced with electronic type. As said before, check bulb earths.
