  1. Thoroughly agree!

Lets hope that they can do it again. It was clear that every racer wanted to support more Jigsaw races.

It is so good to see, and be part of, Triumphs all racing together - I had another splendid joust with Neil R. until I ran out of brakes.

Hope the car isn't too badly damaged, that looked like a mighty thump into the barriers at the hairpin.

  2. As an envious spectator who's race car wasn't ready in time I can only say it was a great race. With TRs numbering 14 of the 22 qualifiers we were well represented.

Bad luck for firstly Mark Campbell then Rob Cowing with cars both retiring from the lead but a spirited drive from Mike Hazlewood kept him in a prime position to take a well deserved win.

And what about Steve Chapmans drive from 22nd on the grid after a rotor arm problem in practice through the field to take 3rd in the race, brilliant stuff. Don't know what you have done to the car over the winter but with this and Oulton Park recently it's certainly working.

Again a big Thanks to Mark & Jo at Jigsaw for sticking their necks out to promote the race in these straitened times.

If, as they suggested, Mark & Jo are considering putting on another race at Snetterton later in the season please all of those who can support it do so to make it a succesful event.

Lastly welcome back to Mark Richards in the TR8 in the CSCC Future Classics race at Mallory for a rare race after a very long absence. The car was going well until an electrical problem sidelined it.

  3. Rob

I can help with a transponder. I had entered the Jigsaw race but unfortunately car not ready. I will be spectating for whole day, including practice. My Transponder is not hard wired into car, it is a rechargeable battery type. I will bring it with me on Mon morning fully charged. I think I have a spare fixing base. You may need some tie wraps to fix it.

Unit No which you will need to register with CSCC before meeting is 1256165.

Ring me beforehand if you need to or on the morning at the circuit on 07769 600348.

Your practice session is 11-30 am. I will be there from approx 9-00/9-30 am so you will have plenty of time to fix it to the car.

Unit will be loaned FOC on the understanding that, should it be damaged in any way during your period of use, you will replace it.

    Good Luck.

    Regards
