  2. Hi all slowly building up the chassis I have put together the Willwood front disc & caliper conversion also using an alloy hub with standard stub axle ,but  when I tried to put a wheel on u guessed it it won’t cover the caliper, annoying but contacted willwood but they say rally design made the kit using there parts but the disc looks to big , obviously I bought it years ago so no chance of changing it but is there a 16 inch wheel that’s fits the tr5

1st pic the wheel only goes on a few inches

2nd pic it goes on but catches the caliper

    regards.

  3. Sounds like a nice car but like many cars that have had to much money spent on them for what one can get back but hopefully you find a buyer ,but you do need to let us know what price you think it would sell in OZ so the guys on here can really help /give an opinion.

  5. Nice looking car ,I believe the door should have two clicks ,when closing slowly you should be able to hear this if not a slight adjustment might be needed or the lock could be tired/worn maybe some wd40 etc will help as it’s been  sitting  .

  6. Hi all ,

after buying my car along time ago and selling my last tr I’ve  finally got space to get the car back on the road obviously it’s going to take some time but I have got a great start when I was lucky enough to buy it the owner purchased a brand new unused chassis from a main dealership it was hanging from the ceiling on display, had a slight sand blast and had the strengthening bits attached and powdered coated about ten years ago .

after dusting it down I found a number on a tag not sure I’ve seen that before.

Not restored one for along time and I am sure I will need help along the way ,on my last one I used a Nissan rear diff with the good parts conversion,my question  is best to keep original as its a two owner car or modify sensibly  .

    regards

    Nick
