Lets just say that a lot of us are going to be recommended to isolate for the rest of the year.......

The modified replica ones look great, but can warp over time. I've now gone back to standard drums.

Agree with all the above, but if you can get it add "Car Share" to the list with Peter Kay.....and look out for shop and road signs as the car drives past them

Sounds like a form of "looming" self isolation Roger

Following an announcement and better clarification with a phone call.

Happy Birthday Tom.
Enjoy

They look lovely Hamish. Definitely driver motivation!
Don't worry about the airflow calcs......the only thing to worry about would be if they were the wrong way round

Looks wonderful.
I can't see the little pipe that drips oil on driveways......TR's always mark their territory.....

Thanks 4Mal. I'm sure they are a good track tyre but £250 each ...? !
They've gone up then.....

I had Avon ZZ on my TR4 for years. They don't last the longest, but I loved them.

If you have another tyre, it may be a case of sacrificing the stuck one by giving it a puncture.
Or possibly take it back and ask them what they are going to do about it.

The best anti-theft device for my TR in Toronto is the manual gearbox...

As they say.....if they want it they will take it some way or another. I have a friend who had his Jag stolen form a circuit paddock. Just roll up with a racing car box and winch it in. Nobody challenged. He now has security items installed in his replacement
It does bring to mind having adequate insurance and an agreed value. As TT says you need balance to make sure that the inconvenience doesn't outweigh the benefit.
If it gets to the point where you worry too much, it makes using the car less enjoyable.

An isolation key
An MTrack unit
Smartwater on various bits ( and a warning label )

Like TRTOM I have a 123 ignition unit installed. This was put in at the time of the restoration and has been reliable ever since - no changes made. the car was set up on a rolling road and the advance set using the adjustment on the unit - it isn't a fancy "tune" version.
Very happy user here.

Great photo

Just watched that on the Live Stream - on all weekend folks.
Fabulous car

TR4 - Good choice.
Welcome to the forum.

Well done Tom. That's a car I would like as I am from Southend-on-Sea. Don't remember the car though. It wouldn't have chased me as I was 11.
Happy Birthday David Ferry
