Yes we must , I set off Thursday night in intermittent rain ,then I got to Sandiway lights the heavens opened so a sharp left into the Shell service station, to put the roof up, the wipers actually work in this TR6, a couple of beers in the pub then set off home with the cassette player, playing and the heater on. Takes me back 40 years

I thought about this a few years ago, not being able to see the indicator light on the dashboard with the refection of the sun, so I managed to pick up an audible indicator unit from a motor cycle shop that replaces the indicator unit in the passenger footwell.
It is a straight swap, just audible, it was little too loud at first so I put some insulation tape around it to deaden the sound a bit. It was less than £20 as I remember. Works well and done in a couple of minutes

Just found this, the TR6 wind shield frame was coloured up to CP500001 and black after that.
-
Yes 1969 had colored screen frame, then black . it was just the sills painted black for all years , thanks for the info Gordon.
-
A quick question, did all TR6's have black painted sills, Thanks Gordon

Found this in the garage the other day TR6 flasher lamp in original Lucas box, presume it's for the Italian market as it has clear/white glass, original factory unit. Could take to Stoneleigh next week if anyone is interested. Looking for £150 money will go to the [ British Heart Foundation ]

I Had the same problem this weekend, setting off for the Gold Cup at Oulton Park; there was no pressure on the brake pedal and after investigating the reservoir was empty and it had leaked between the master valve and the servo
I have been told it can be repaired with a new seal kit; is this true? and where could I source original parts rather than something of inferior quality. I do have a spare original master cylinder, does anyone think this would be ok to fit or would it have perished?
Thanks Gordon

I bought my TR6 in 1981 the car had never been modified the car is a UK car it had Union Jack decal on it then, the car was Mallard Blue ,as for the UJ flag Decal being fitted to over seas cars only I think it was once mentioned then it became a common misconception.
I must say I like flying the flag

The Trombone player has now gone ,we now have a very nice harmonica note coming from the boot,
I got a new fuel filter and pressure relief valve from Prestige at Wrexham also a long chat ,
very helpful, the car is now sounding and running better,
next job will be to fit heavier cable relay and fuse to the bosch pump..
