    Anti Freeze

    Appreciate all the helpful advice given, the last thing I want to do is put the wrong spec anti freeze in and cause a problem. Have ordered 5 litres of Millers Blue Alpine Anti Freeze IAT.

    Anti Freeze

    Am about to flush my radiator and put some anti freeze in, any advice on which type of anti freeze to put in would be gratefully received.

    Petrol additives

    In all honesty, no, but that is my plan as soon as the this tank of fuel (with additive) has been used.
  4. Have owned my TR6 for just over two years and in that time have always ran it on Esso E5 with 'Millers Oils' lead additive. The previous owner always put additive in the fuel but it turns out that some time prior to his ownership the head was converted to unleaded. I only discovered this when I went through the extensive file of previous bills and discovered the bill for the conversion. I try not to run the tank lower than 1/4 full, and never fill it over 3/4 full, but last week I had to put some petrol in (the tank was lower than 1/4) but had no additive to hand so just put a few litres

Have just been shunted from behind in my TR6, the damage is light in as much as the bumper took the impact but in doing so it has been pushed onto the back panel which has split the paint and slightly deformed it. Am convinced none of it is structural but am now looking for a decent body shop that can take on this kind of work. I live in Coventry but am happy to travel for the right body shop. Does anyone have any recommendations or advice?
  6. Neil Ferguson refurbished and calibrated my MU and it have been really pleased with the work. Amazing workshop if you get the chance to see it and a really nice bloke too, would not hesitate to use him again.

    Damper Link

    Am about to replace both upper and lower rubber buffers on the the damper links on the rear suspension of my TR6. From looking at it will I need to have a spring compressor on the road spring or will it be ok without applying one? Was hoping to be able to put the car on axle stands, loosen of the retaining nuts at the top and bottom of the damper links, remove the damper and apply the new rubber buffers and bolt it all back together......or have I just over simplified the the process?
