Not been to far this morning, but done a few miles on the rolling road for a health check, Just had needle mods on the carburettors all seems good to go now. We have a few holidays coming up so hopefully she’ll run as she should with no problems.

I had to change my pads before it’s MOT, when I took the old ones out they had about 1/8 of pad left on all 4 so good even wear on the pads, the pistons moved in and out as they should and the stainless steel was very clean and smooth, fitted new pads and checked that they operated correctly. Still get the same one push on the peddle and it goes to half way down second push and it’s about 1/4 down.

Well Pete, what a difference! I bet your well happy and cannot wait to get Katie back, I bet the first drive down the motorway will be really exciting and when you get on the country roads near you you’ll keep driving all night, (remember to put some petrol in before you leave Marks) Hope to meet up with you and Katie at Malvern.

Morning all, leaving the foot brake pushed down has not helped things, popping down to see Hamish this morning so when I get back I’ll look at the brake master cylinder push rod to see if we have play in that area. She passed her MOT with no advisory’s, the Pedley has been like this for a long time so may just continue with it, it still stops ok.

Let’s hope you get your gearbox back soon, if not they may take it to the show to demonstrate what they have been doing for you. Sorry I will miss the seminar as it clashes with something else I am doing at the same time.

I’m around in the day time but unfortunately I have to drive my big red/blue truck at night, just finished mine ready for MOT on Wednesday and a run to Bodrhyddan Hall this Sunday

Afternoon Pete, that’s really coming on now and is looking good, all you have to do is keep up the good work when you get her back ( which I know you will ) and you’ll be up and running in no time. We’re out for a 200 + mile run tomorrow but looks like it will be a little damp but it will wash Brenda.

£38 that’s not to fill it up is it, it costs me more to fill mine it just about empty now and I need to fill up so will check. Mind you I do use supper fuel from shell. And from a early post I don’t do mpg I just put fuel in when it gets to a 1/4 full, may check this time as hopefully got a couple of good runs coming up.

Morning Pete, well done keeping yourself busy while your TR is away, I found this you may be able to slid in it to sleep but you would have to have a tent for all your other stuff.

We’re going booked tickets and we’re having a long weekend again, we’re booked into the Malvern Hills Hotel this year, looking forward to it should be lots of different cars to look round this year. Let’s hope for good weather.

I have a towing strap and it’s been used, I also have a battery pack but it gets moved between the vehicle am using that week. ( mainly to use on other peoples cars )

Just had to get the spare wheel out to check the pressure as one of my monthly checks. What do others carry in the boot around there spare wheel under the boot board.

As above I have also had the brakes power bled and no difference, I have had the same for years so looks like I will have to continue with it unless John finds something then I will give it a go.
