Were those not fitted only to cars for the U.S. market?
Richard.
Yes and a good job there were, a very easy way to spoil a car, horrid things.

l am refurbishing my UK 1974 M reg “6” which the technical advice states is Mimosa but actually is much closer to Inca Yellow.
Can someone advise what is the correct lettering and colour for the rear panels please?
All help much appreciated.John Emms.
I don’t think Inca was a colour for the TR6 Mimosa was the only Yellow for the 74 Here is a pic of mine with correct decals

Hi Guys
Does anyone use a trickle charger on their car. I know on most cars, well on mine anyway there is nothing running after ignition is off. But I was watching a program which highlighted how batteries lose amps while standing for long periods, so I dug out my trickle charger that I used with my Z4 and hooked it up.

It was BBC 4 you could try BBC World Service

Welcome Rob some picture of the car would be good

Will it not stream on You Tube

I enjoyed the programme but seem to think they concentrated more on the trials and tribulations of the owners.

Part of the Coventry City of Culture year there is a program on tonight BBC4 at 9pm called Built in Coventry more the Classic era so Jags Triumph and Standard, could be a decent way to spend an hour.

Hi Gavin
I normally put a piece of 150mm x 150mm x 12mm (or 18mm) plywood between jack and chassis
Keep it in the boot for when you go to the garage
Roger
Ditto exactly what I do, I do keep them in the jack bag in the boot

I have found in my three years of ownership if it’s PI use it regularly and it’s ace. I make sure I run my car at least every 2 weeks during winter time and the rest of the year it’s used every week. I also make sure the engine is always up to temp in the winter runs.

I did exactly what you did Bruce I connect the Injector to my Stirrup pump clears them no problem, since I changed to a new fuel tank I have no further trouble. Touch wood
-
Have you blew some compressed air through the injectors so to eliminate that cause. On a couple of occasions I have had **** in the injectors.
