Octagonal? Haven't got an MG have you? Perhaps the previous owner did.
Do those keys fit anything on your car?

Seems a good plan Charlie, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try Live Promotions as well as the NAEC.

No-one? I bought a Hilka jump starter from them, which they said needed charging, but it won't charge, and Hilka say it's been connected incorrectly and is burned out. Unfortunately I paid cash.

I'm hoping to find some contact details for a trader at Stoneleigh. They were just inside the entrance, on the left, had a couple of tables selling various tools, and next to those was a booth making number plates.

My 4A is on 4 1/2" rims with 165/80/15 T-Trac 2 tyres. I run them at 24 psi all round.

Getting gearbox both out of and back into the TR is not an easy job, so I would suggest that you get it onto the chassis and then build around it.
Isn't this for a Stag?

I wish that they would seperate the MG and Triumph stalls
A problem with that would be where to put the sellers who have both Triumph and MG, as well as those who have neither (tools, paints, etc).

Bill Piggott told me that in the early afternoon it took him 45 minutes to get from Stoneleigh village onto the site.
Someone told me they'd taken over an hour from Stoneleigh.

I enjoyed it - met a few people I know from this forum, spent a few quid...

Is there any difference between Lanoguard and Lanoshield?

The previous owner of my TR4A was a chap living in Penarth and working in Barry, named Steven but always referred to as Grotty.

For anyone who is not familiar with the word “Splott” (Most likely people from the South East of England) it really is the name of an area near Cardiff.
No, it's an area IN Cardiff!

That's a good idea Jean-Marie. I wish I'd done that last year...

+1
I fitted those, along with a new rack, and agree there is no excess play.

Love it!
Wasn't there a Merlin-powered car in the 1950s that was famous for repeatedly outrunning the speed cops in Belgium?
