I have a 200l tank one. Really worth it.
I bought mine from https://www.sgs-engineering.com/ and have bought several tools from them. Nice company to deal with.
+1 for SGS.

Fuses are very good at blowing when there's a short-circuit, but don't blow quickly enough to protect against overloads.

No that’s the wrong shape it’ll never fit. Item 23 with clip 24 here https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/shop-by-model/triumph/tr2-4a/body-chassis/windscreens-glazing-fittings/windscreen-tr4-4a-1961-67.html
This is what you need below, where did yours come from?
Stuart
That's how I remember it.

Does the trim I have look correct?
I'm sure mine has a longer protrusion into the rubber, i.e. the vertical bit of the letter T.

Well, if they pass the bounce test and show no signs of leaking, they don't need replacing.

If you bounce a front wing down then let go, does it continue to bounce up and down, or does it return to normal height and stay there?

Watch out for the fuel pipe running under the LH axle shaft. Ask me why I give that warning...

I have ordered an endoscope as well with a light and a small grab on it which is supposed to be liquid proof still not sure about putting it in fuel tho. I just thought I could have a good look round and see if anything else is lurking in that fuel tank.

I found a four inch length of the 'chrome' finisher for a windscreen seal in my tank.

Personally I wouldn't use a pressure washer on the patio as it'll roughen the surface so it gets dirty quicker.

I'd leave that to a specialist wheel refinisher.

Should the cap be allowed tp spin in the yoke - probably not. But what would make it spin. The needle rollers do not spin and the spigot on the yoke can't spin.
However (again again) there is a slight rocking motion. So after a few million revs of the prop shaft the cap and bearing will not have done one full revolution at any time.
They may do a composite revolution or two.
Why would the cap spin - the needle rollers arw far free'er
All good points of course Roger. I mentioned the possibility because one of mine seems to have been spinning - there are witness marks from the circlip on the cap, so one of them has been rotating against the other. I can't see any way the circlip can have rotated. It is on my list for further investigation, but the circular tuit hasn't yet been delivered.

I used Robin Hunter, www.car-transport-services.co.uk on the recommendation of TRGB. I don't think he's local to Oxford but works all over the southern UK.

You're probably right Andy, but some insurance companies seem to be very good at finding excuses to refuse claims...
I've seen some seatbelt guides that look positively dangerous to me.

Please let us know what they say Roger.
Remember Ali is measuring with a caliper not an internal micrometer, so may well have measured the bore a little too small, it's easily done.

I wonder if these things, being a modification to a safety device, should have type approval. Does the insurance company need to be notified?

They do not require an interference as they are held in place with circlips.
Don't they need an interference fit to prevent them rotating?
