Bought a part on eBay in the states news years day , arrived yesterday ,and yippee. For the 1st time no trip to the post office to pay the tax , so not sure if this is down to brexit or our new us trade agreement.

if you remove it from the cubby box lid . and clean it carefully there is a number i believe on the end , or if not it is on the side somewhere .

Have similar problems with the 4cyclinder engines , however the PI engines seem OK .

It really would take a brave person to tackle that one ! As Stuart says maybe a bit more metal on this one ,compared to the one he is currently working on , but a lot of the unobtainable parts are there , but then again there are still several item missing that would have to be made . A convertible well there is an idea .

if you all look carefully , and in the absence of badges the grill with no starting handle hole denotes a 5 ??? but then there is no hole in the valance for the air flow , but then it looks like a tr4 mirror , but then a 4 does not have the side markers , can we just say its a TRrrrrr

be aware that the wing trims are handed , and yes there are never 2 cars the same , so just keep adjusting until you are happy with them .

last time I loosened the diff bolts at the front and undid the rear mounts and that allowed enough tilt to remove the prop shaft , it is tight

I have to agree with Derek on this one my 5 APP...F 38k miles from new and unrestored has chrome screws cups and hinges.
check out Chris Harvey’s book from 1983 , it had 22K miles then

and you will need a heritage certificate as ian has pointed out above when you come to apply for a uk registration plate with the dvla .
