There is a very slight difference between CR &CP series bumpers I cannot remember exactly but they do not fit nicely if swapped

Pull the metal bulb holder clear of the rubber holder , fit the rubber then with a bit of grease lightly smeared on the holder push it back into the rubber holder ,whilst gently pulling the wires from the inside

original Timkin bearings are still out there price is around £60 pair i have several pairs and can bring to spares day at the weekend if any body wants them , or you can get them from some specialist bearing suppliers , will post numbers later.

seriously though i am pretty sure we could get it on a level playing field engine wise , and certainly replace anything you may break, may need deep pockets,but motorsport is not a cheap hobby nowadays.

i suspect the reason is cost , in my experience i can get most parts reproduced very well , but there is normally a waiting list and a large bill at the end .

the triumph sabrina engines used in tr3s and trs cars in 1959-60-and 61 at le man did indeed use the twin DU6 not an easy carb to set up the 1962 cars would have used DCOE carbs but alas it was not to be.

yes they can be made.!! you will need to make an aluminium template first for the mould , it is not cheap for one offs though

no that is a TR6 plenum I am afraid , the tr5 only has 1 breather outlet as Stuart says .i can send you pictures of both an un modified non breather and a later modified version if you would like . You also have the TR6 type of air bleed in your inlet manifolds as well .
