John L
I will be taking the wooden dash off sometime this winter, to get it revarnished, but I'm concerned that the dash top doesnt meet the dash itself properly, there is a large gap above the wood. What holds the dash top down? I think it may have shrunk from heat is that possible? Can it be pulled back into place or will it need a new top? Any help would be appreciated please John Edited November 16, 2017 by John L
Mark69
Hi John, Looks like your dash as lifted and pulled the vinyl flap out that is sandwiched between the metal dash back and body scuttle panel. This should become evident when you remove dash front. Mark
