Wharfedale Post Christmas Bash

Saturday 8th January 2022 saw the Wharfedalers gather for their annual post Christmas bash, which involves a short walk followed by lunch. Normally we have eaten at The Moorlands Inn at Ogden, as we missed last years because of you know what, we decided on a different venue this year, The Myrtle Tavern at Meanwood Leeds.

John & Jean Hussey organised the walk and meal, and although the 2.5 mile walk around Meanwood Valley past the Three Cottages Cafe was good, it was also very damp, but it is January so to be expected.

We met at 11am for the walk, and the meal was booked for 1pm. The pub served us very well and we had a good meal in the pub, in a very very convivial atmosphere.
