Wharfedale Autumn Leaves Run 14th October 2018

Sunday 14th October was scheduled to be our Autumn Leaves Run day. Due to holidays etc there wasn't time to get a route organised so Mike suggested we do a re run of Keith & Jane Wests Three Peaks route, which we did last year, it is a good run, but does need the weather to be on your side for the views, and last year wasn't that good.

So with this in mind the meeting place was Keelham Farm Shop just outside Skipton. But due to continued holidays and other things it was a very low turn out, 4 cars in total, and only one of those a TR, oh ek. Mike & Kates TR4 had a dodgy clutch, Graham & Lita are still short of an engine, John & Jean didn't fancy the the 3 in the rain, yes it did rain again, so that left John & Janet to keep up the TR sprit by turning up in their 6.

The guys reported it was a very grey day and drizzled for most of the run as far as Dent, but improved after that. A very good, and convivial lunch was had in the Sun in Dent, the cliental being entertained by live music from a local folk band.

The run continued down through Ingleton, the group then splitting up to make their individual journeys home.
