September 2022 area groups updated activities. South Glam Group out and about Sept 2022

Well, this year the group has seen an increase in TR's taking part in some of our event. The latest to have joined is Paul and Bev with their yellow TR6 who first joined us when we had TS2 for a short period back in May. Myself, having had to use MX5 as the 6 was off the rd for a short while throughout last year’s event, now back in with the TR6.

September saw us have weekend gathering in Pembroke for the annual event ‘’PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY CLASSIC CAR RUN’’.

9 Triumphs travelled down, 8 of which were TR and our Group leader Dave still flying the flag though be it in his Stag, having had to move on from his beloved TR4a some years back. We did have two others but them being cars from the land of the rising sun, Japan. Still fun and not out of place at the event as we saw so many varieties of old and modern classics taking part.

We were pleased to have TR members Steve and Sian join from West Wales on the Saturday evening for a meal and some drinks prior to Sunday’s event.

The other short day out saw four of us at Cowbridge ‘’Cars and Coffee’’ but were soon joined by three other TR members from outside our group, a immaculate TR6 and equally aTR4a plus again a very nice blue Grinnall. Sadly, we weren’t able to be parked together for photo shoot.

Hopefully we will try and get one more run out before we tuck TR's away for the winter (well some of us will)

Although the group travelled up seperatley we all arrived safe and sound, some even went to the extent of tucking their cars to bed.
