TR Register Shropshire Group Drive it Day today Shrewsbury to Montgomery including Triumph TR3, TR3A, TR4, TR4A, TR5', TR250, TR6, Triumph Stag, Riley and a Jag. The Rolls were not with us. They were being displayed in Montgomery Town Square.

TR Shropshire Group joined other groups and individuals with classic cars in support of fund raising for the Shrewsbury Hospice in a run and display of cars at Attingham Park on August 14th 2018. Photos by the daughter of Gordon and Sheena Grant (in the red TR6!

This year's Summer Weekend was located on the camp site next to The Wharf Tavern at Goldstone near Market Drayton. The weekend started with a very damp barbeque seeing the only rain of the weekend. The remainder of the weekend it was hoods down all the way to Foxfield Railway, Trentham Gardens Shopping Village and the Gladstone Pottery Museum on Saturday and a trip to the Anderton Canal Boat Lift on the Sunday. Stoke Group joined the tour of the Gladstone Pottery and some members joined the Stoke Group on the Saturday and the Sunday as they were also having their summer weekend at the same time.

Sunday morning saw local members and one member from the Red Rose Group take a short run through Shrewsbury Town Centre and on to Pontesbury and over the Stiperstones circling back towards Shrewsbury to the Shrewsbury Classic Car Festival 2018 at Longden Village Hall.

Thirteen TRs turned out for a mid week run down to South Wales starting with a super breakfast at Ludlow Food Centre followed by a drive along sweeping Mid Wales roads over the beautiful Brecon Beacons to lunch at The Tair Bull Country Inn at Libanus. Over 250 miles covered and no break downs!!! Thanks go to Greg Washington for planning the route and organising lunch etc. A truly great TR day out! Obviously the weather was icing on the cake.

Annual classic car show organised jointly by Shropshire and Stoke Groups and The Wharf Tavern

Sadly the last day and onward bound for home calling in at Dunster Castle on the way.

Drive across Exmoor tom its highest point at Dunkery Beacon which we missed because of low cloud and rain. Straight on to Cleevee Abbey following which lunch at Watchet. Then onto Porlock and the climb up Porlock Hill and finally afternoon tea at Lorna Doone Fam

Festival of Transport in Ludlow 2018

Drive out to Woody Bay Station on the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. Then onto Lynton to park up at the Lynton - Lynmouth Cliff Railway and cafe followed by a drive to Exbridge for lunch at the Anchor Inn and then onto Castle Hill Gardens.

Drive to Appledore then to Clovelly followed by a visit to the Dartington Crystal factory at Grat Torrington.

Shropshire Group Summer Tour 2018 to North Devon DAY 1 - Ludlow Food Centre to Hereford then onto Tintern Abbey before driving down to Barnstaple.

Shropshire and Stoke Groups Annual Turkey Trot

Shropshire Group annul autumn run saw 25 cars meet at Shropshire Leisure for a coffee and chat before headdin off for a drive through South Shropshire through Bewdley and on to Boenham Arboretum for a walk through the woods and then on to The Plume of Feathers near Much Wenlock for an afternoon nosh.

Classic Car Meeting

Roger Critchley and Peter Napier popped along to watch the TRs in action. Unfortunately the big day was on Sunday which clashed with the Workshop Day and Shrewsbury Classic Car Festival.
