About London

London Group is one of oldest local groups in the TR Register – this means it was one of the first formed and not a comment on the age of the membership! All this happened way back in 1970 and since then many people have enjoyed the friendship of the group whilst indulging in their passion for all things TR.

The group serves the whole of the London area, but our main meeting place is situated to the south of the capital in Malden Rushett. We start slightly later than most groups, from 8:30 pm onwards, this is to allow people to get home from a stressful day at work and allow for the heavy traffic we have to endure.

The location of our first monthly Group meeting on first Thursday of each month varies from month to month so please check out the panel of "upcoming" events to the right on this page. If selected this will take you to our events pages where full details of that event are listed. Our second Group meeting of each month, which is on the 3rd Thursday is generally at the Star Inn Malden Rushett, Kingston Rd, Leatherhead KT22 0DP both meeting start, as mentioned above, from 8:30 pm, again though it is always advisable to check with the panel "upcoming" events on the right of this page

As well as the usual meetings, London Group also organise camping trips, barbecues, convoy runs and take part in several classic car gatherings, such as at Spa Francorchamps classic le Mans and of course the Annual IWE
