LTRG - April breakfast run

A hearty breakfast is clearly popular with 18 TRs, 1 MX5 and 29 members meeting up for a pleasant country drive in the spring sunshine. We all met at the Attfields Farm shop & kitchen for a healthy full English breakfast, coffee and good chit chat. 

Allan and Brian had organised a 55 mile run around small country lanes ending up at Foxton Locks. Route instruction were handed out and cars left in 2s and 3s to follow the route. There were a number of us not having navigators on-board so resorted to following the TR in front with full confidence that they knew where they were going! Well it all worked as most of us arrived at the destination where were looked at the boats and locks followed by sitting outside the pub on the towpath. Thanks to Brian and Allan for a great run out and organising the weather!

More coffee, cake or ice-cream was the order of the day. Sadly, it was then time to depart but we will be back together again on Thursday 20 April for our monthly meeting at the Gate Hangs Well in Syston. See you there from 7.30.
