LVG - Flying High & Fast

The Group tried to arrange a talk from a long time Concorde pilot before Covid and at last we managed to hold an evening with John Hutchinson, who flew Concorde for 15 years. 45 members and friends turned out to hear a very informative and entertaining presentation and enjoyed pre talk light refreshments at Hitchin Town Hall.  Chums from both North London and Camb Followers helped swell the numbers and John’s enthusiasm and pride in what is an aviation icon was clear to see, with many people commented how much they enjoyed his talk. An added bonus was the raising of £200 for John’s favourite charity, the RNLI.
