Celebrating the British Motor Car at the British Motor Museum
The British motor museum celebrated the wide variety of cars built through the ages by inviting classic cars and their owners to display their pride and joy machines. there was a large number of Triumph TR's on show at the TR registers area tent with tea and coffee on tap for all.
sadly one TR6 was late to the show. Arriving ceremoniously on the back of a recovery lorry. Alternator and subsequent loss of battery power being the cause. A fellow member rose to the occasion and we went to Halfords for a new battery to enable the stricken car to eventually drive home.
Despite this there was a great turnout for the TR clubs with over 20 cars from aTR3 to a TR8.
Hopefully the stricken TR6 owner (KVG group leader) will get enough time to actually go inside the museum.
