Kennet Valley Group support WBCVC Newbury Blood Cancer UK Classic
Kennet Valley Group supported this ever popular classic show, this year, West Berkshire Classic Vehicle Club celebrated their 28th Annual Classic Vehicle Show in Newbury in support of Blood Cancer UK (note the new name).
On a morning starting wet, 7 member cars including two Triumph Stags supported the show, as there was no pre-booking, it was hard to create a Group pitch but 5 KVG managed to line up flying the KVG and South Central banners.
After a slow start as if it had been sunny, long queues were expected, and as the rain eased, more and more classics turned out to support the event and Blood Cancer UK. As you can see above, there was a great eclectic mix of cars from pre-war to modern, there was also stall from charities, suppliers, auto jumblers and of course food and drink.
As usual, this show was a great one to visit and spend time with fellow TR Register members and other classic car enthusiasts alike. KVG members raised £40 for Blood Cancer UK, thank you to those members who contributed.
Our next get together is the MG & Triumph Weekend, if you haven't got tickets yet, you can purchase them on the gate on entry. The following weekend is Basingstoke Festival of Transport, this is fully booked and I will send out those attending passes shortly.
