Kennet Valley Group - May Club Night with FBHVC

Kennet Valley Group May club night was an interesting evening with Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs. David Whale - Chairman and Wayne Scott - Communications Director, gave a conversational presentation & video without any slides about the aims and activities of the FBHVC to KVG members.

There were some very interesting facts, did you know there are circa 1.5 million classic vehicles in the UK, owned by approximately 700,000 enthusiast and the value of the industry is £7.5 billion, that makes it bigger than the UK Fishing Industry.

As custodians of these wonderful vehicles, we must ensure their future and also be aware and manage the new legislation, trends, technologies that will/can affect the running of these vehicles. The FBHVC is the catalyst and lobbiest of the Government and European standards.
