Kennet Valley TR Group attends WBCVC gathering in Hungerford High Street
Kennet Valley members went along to join West Berks Classic Vehicle Club at their informal classic display in Hungerford High Street in conjunction with Hungerford Arcade often seen on BBC's Bargain Hunt.
Circa 30 cars attended this nice event despite the threat of rain by the Met Office which never materialised. Members of Public flocked around to view the classic and there was great interest all around.
There were some very interesting classic vehicles displayed, Standard Triumphs, Morris 8's, Rolls Royce, Rover P6, Mini Clubman 1275GT owner for over 40 years by the driver and a very rare and interesting Commer Cob Fire Service Van.
This event is ideally suited not just to see Classic vehicles but also have a look around this beautiful Berkshire town, famous for its many Antique shops and cream teas as well as the Kennet Avon Canal which runs through it.
A lovely day out and thoroughly recommended event, make sure you put it in your diary for next year.
