Glavon Group at Hawkesbury Upton Fireworks - 5th November 2022

This year members of Glavon TRs attended the Hawkesbury Upton Village Bonfire and Fireworks Display. Each year the bonfire has a different theme and this year it featured a huge rocket bearing the initials of the Hawkesbury Upton Space Agency, complete with launch gantry and astronauts! (No astronauts were injured or killed in the conflagration!)

It was a real work of art which must have taken huge amounts of time and effort to construct, but was an amazing sight as it was consumed by the flames. This was followed by an fantastic fireworks display, before making our way to The Beaufort Arms, just across the road for a good meal and a few beers. Additional photos on the Gallery.
