Glavon Group Versus Kennet Valley Group Skittles match - 14th March 2020

The annual sporting challenge this year took place at the very attractive thatched White Hart Inn at Wroughton. Somewhat unusually, there were equal numbers from each Group but after five legs Glavon were declared the clear winners by a margin of over 30 and Phil Horsley presented victorious Group Leader, Nigel Ind with the enormous cup. Kennet Valley Group didn't come away empty handed however as one of their players, Ian Howett came away with the honour of lowest score with a total of 9 over the five legs. It was great fun and the match was followed by a very enjoyable lunch.

Sadly, this is likely to be the last event for some time due to Corona Virus restrictions but hopefully we will all come through this crisis unscathed.
