Please note, that there is no arranged mid-month meeting this October, now that we’re in to the shorter and darker Autumn evenings, but we’ll hopefully instead be looking at some run outs in a similar manner to last weekend’s Hook Norton brewery adventure. Obviously, we are the mercy of the weather so it will be a last-minute call. Watch this space and we will keep you posted.
The celebration for Martin Roberts, landlord and proprietor of The Peacock, was last Saturday and went extremely well. The pub was packed with his family, friends, neighbours and customers, so much so that at one stage there was a queue to get in !! Just as he would have wished. We, the Chiltern TR Group, were well represented.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, 2nd November, at The Peacock, where it is business as usual.
