Dear Friends
With great sadness I have to report that Martin Roberts, the landlord and proprietor of The Peacock, and good a friend to the Chiltern TR Group, lost his brave battle with long term illness and passed away last Thursday. He was always very supportive and helpful and showed great kindness to all of us. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and staff.
We will meet at The Peacock this Wednesday, 5th October, as planned. Jemma (the manager) has confirmed it will be business as usual, just as Martin would have wished.
