High and Low Run

Last Sunday saw eight cars take part in the run,,great to see the "regulars" joined by new members John Reid and Linsey Franklin in their TR6,as well as members who we have not seen for some time, Geoff Gow and his good lady wife in their 6.We were blessed with good weather, clear roads and I thought clear instructions. However there is always one(or in this case more than one)and it was great to see the splinter group of the sidescreen drivers enjoying themselves as they passed us going the other way!
Thanks also to the staff at The Manger for the Sunday lunch especially the Chocolate "rumpy pumpy".

The next important date for exercising your car is 1st of October for The Autumn leaves Run. This will be organised by Rob who will need to know numbers as the restaurant that we are using for lunch will need to be advised. Please contact him on reaslea@btinternet.com
The Classic Vehicle Restoration Show is on at Stoneleigh on the 5th of November, unfortunately I will be unable to attend this year as the Register AGM is on this date! However if you are going and have a spare seat, or wish to go and have no transport let me know and I will try and put you all in touch.
Finally, spares. I have a collection of new and used spares, mostly for TR6 as below. If you wish to purchase any they can be collected at club night, from mine or posted at additional cost. All proceeds will go to the Register's fund towards the restoration of TS2.
