Rog
Hi everyone; Just a long shot but, like many others, I'm trying to track down the origins of my car and record the experience of previous owners. The car was apparently supplied to Hollingdrake Automobile Company Ltd ( got a ring to it eh!) in Colwyn Bay. Does anyone know of Timothy John Croston (once resident in Bury) whom I understand to be the original owner . Many thanks Rog
Guest ianwright11
Hi, A basic check on the DVLA web site reveals the following: The vehicle details for FDM 763K are: Date of Liability 01 09 2007 Date of First Registration 06 08 1971 Year of Manufacture Not Available Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2498CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour WHITE So it at least appears to be aliveand kicking. You can contact the DVLA for further info but it costs (see other posts on this) and there needs to be valid reason for enquiry. Regards and good luck!

Mike G
Rog A check of BT's web site shows no listing in the Bury area. This could be that he has moved away, or ex-directory, or no longer with us. Mike G Edited March 1, 2007 by Mike G

The vehicle details for TRM 921S are: Date of Liability 01 11 2003 Hi Salmon, I think you'll find the last RFL expired 31/10/2003, the DoL is when RFl should have been renewed or SORN declared, cars that were off the road prior to a certain date (late '90s, I think) when tax ran out do not need SORN. Hi Robin, The enquiry is complete The vehicle details for SOL 959M are: Date of Liability 01 08 1997 Date of First Registration 24 04 1974 Year of Manufacture Not Available Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2498CC CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type Petrol Export Marker Not Applicable Vehicle Status Unlicensed Vehicle Colour RED Vehicle Type Approval The information contained on this page is correct at the time of enquiry. Vehicle Excise Duty Rate for vehicle 6 Months Rate £96.25 12 Months Rate £175.00 Edited March 1, 2007 by jonlar

Mike G Thanks Mike (and Ian); I've got the usual heritage and DVLA records but a search in your local directory is really helpful. I did get a response from the present occupant of Tim Crostons former home but as he said its a long time ago. I've writen to Hollingdrakes (who I believe are now Guy Salmon in Stockport) the original MD but I'm not holding my breath. Tempus Fugit! Rog
