phil Dean Posted March 25 Report Share Posted March 25 We were marshaling on the Rally the Globe Generation Rally on Friday and Saturday. The event was based at Carden Park near Chester and around Cheshire, North Wales, Shropshire. 90 cars entered 25 were pre war the rest classics. 4 Tr4 and 1 TR250 converted to right hand drive. See below a few pictures I took at Carden Park between our marshaling duties. I didn't get a pictures of the TR250 might have gone for fuel. 1 of the TR4 was missing and I cant recall it coming through our time controls it doesn't appear on the results so probably didn't start. It was a 1938 Triumph Dolomite with a female crew that won the pre war class. Tomasz Dzitko/Michal Dzitko 3 rd Overall 1st in class. David Liddell/ Edward Liddell 8th Overall 2nd in class. Freya Clarke/Lee Clarke 23rd Overall 9th in class Jo Roberts/Alice Wright TR 250 14th Overall and 9th in class. Overall winner of the classic was Porsche 911 E Phil.
