How things have changed. I remember getting our first TV which was B&W  My grandson is much better than me in the internet world. This Saturday I was out in the woods with my dog and arranged to call my wife to collect us when we were ready.  At that point I realised that my mobile was still on charge in the kitchen. So I could not call home.  I walked  through the last bit of the bridleway to the Roebuck Inn and asked if I could use the 'phone and have a drink, Lemon and Soda.  I do not know many telephone numbers now but I do know my wife's contact. I never have to dial it, because it is saved under favourites,  so very lucky that I knew it. I was not familiar with their handset but they cleared the screen for me. I made contact with home and problem over. While I was waiting , it was lunchtime , so I read the menu and was thinking of fish and chips and two drinks. Food was £16.75 x 2  plus 10% and two drinks leaves not much change from £45. So I gave up on that idea.

I am sure that I can remember fish and chips being less than 5 bob. There were three other tables eating lunch so I am getting older and left behind in changing times. But I like emails, mobiles,  the Internet, and Google. So modern life really. Many things have changed since I was much younger and by mistake bought an old car outside a pub. It was the TR3A and changing times have made it better than it was at 8 years old.

What will happen next  out in the world  ??
