jmathias
Mark and I are thinking of entering the Rallye des Alpes next year, for which we would require a FIVA ID card - I can't find any guidelines as to what sort of mods will be acceptable - does anyone with a modded TR have any experience in this respect ? There's nothing major on our car , but e.g. are minilites, adjustable dampers, alternator, etc. OK ?
jdbinnington
do an internet search for FIVA, Fia appendix J and appendix K that tells all very little can be changed
trevor
Kent members, Bob Foxcroft and David Feakes did the rally this year in Bobs TR3 which has just been rebuilt after an accident on the Winter Challenge, I'm sure they would give any help you might need. jmathias
many thanks, Trevor - are Bob and/or David regulars on the forum ? If not, and you see them at a Kent meeting anytime soon, perhaps you could extend an offer of a pint or two in exchange for a chat about the event ? cheers Jon
trevor
I don't think they are regular forum addicts ,so I will let them know you'd like a chat. Trevor.
